Jac Zamar

Jac Zamar is a self-produced, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and recording artist. From a young age, Jac has been captivated by music. From eleven years old and well into his late teens, Jac developed an appreciation for electronic music through deejaying.

At twenty, during Jac’s studies at university, he started teaching himself how to play the ukulele, and at twenty-one, his parents gifted him an acoustic guitar. Soon after, Jac Zamar would turn his interests to the electric guitar, which was the beginning of a journey — an opening to the gates; a quest; an unending discovery of sound and tone.

After graduating with a Master of Chemistry degree, Jac further pursued his interest in music, learning to play bass guitar and keyboard as well as gaining experience with various audio applications and recording techniques, all fueling and facilitating the need to express himself through recording and songwriting.

Jac’s biggest influence is undoubtedly Jimi Hendrix (amongst other guitar legends), and this is evident throughout his debut album which is infused with notable lead guitar play.
